Three by-elections. An unexpected cabinet shuffle. An election year. Volatile voters.

The Prime Minister has called for three by-elections this week. NDP leader Jagmeet Singh will get his chance to win a seat on Parliament Hill in B.C.'s Burnaby-South riding.

On Monday, the Liberal government will also see a cabinet shuffle, after veteran MP Scott Brison stepped down from cabinet and announced he wouldn't seek re-election.
