Trudeau prorogued Parliament in August. He said it was to allow the government to present a long-term economic recovery plan for Canada post-pandemic.
But Conservative MPs accused Trudeau of shutting down Parliament to dodge scrutiny over the government's role in the WE Charity student-grant controversy.
