Zero-waste: Why one family decided to get rid of their garbage bin

Have you ever thought about trying to reduce the amount of garbage you produce every week?

Well Katelin Leblond and her family made the decision about a year ago to begin living a zero-waste lifestyle.

They traded in their garbage bin for a small jar that only fills up on a bi-weekly basis. Since making the switch, Katelin says that she lives with a greater sense of appreciation for the small things in life.
