Our Olympians | Lynda Kiejko goes from coaching her sister for 2012 Olympics to competing in Rio
Lynda Kiejko's dad inspired her to follow in his footsteps and represent Canada at the Olympics Games in pistol shooting.
Pistol shooting runs in the family for Lynda Kiejko.
Her father, Bill Hare, was a competitor at the 1964, 1968, and 1972 Olympic Games.
Her sister Dorothy beat Lynda out for the last spot to compete at the 2012 Olympics in London.
Now, Lynda is finally following the footsteps of her family by representing Canada this summer in Rio.
This month, Lynda marched with Canada in the Opening ceremonies. She ranked 38 in Women's 10m Air Pistol on August 7th, and she will be shooting Women's 25m Pistol Qualification Precision, Rapid, and Finals tomorrow, August 9th.
We revisit Lynda's conversation with Candy from earlier this summer.
