From 'Toy Story' to 'Finding Dory': Vancouver lighting artist makes childhood dream a reality
Farhez Rayani created the lighting in Pixar’s latest hit movie.
From the moment he saw Toy Story in 1995, Farhez Rayani knew that one day, he wanted to work at Pixar.
He just didn't know how to get there.
So he set out to teach himself how to create the amazing graphics he saw on screen.
20 years later, he's living the dream. He is a lighting technical director at Pixar and took the lead to create the lights for the sequel to a popular animated film, Finding Nemo—Finding Dory.
