How mad would you be if your Disney Caribbean cruise went to Atlantic Canada?

Halifax, Sydney and Saint John saw unexpected visitors this week, when a Disney cruise ship scheduled to sail to the Bahamas was re-routed due to Hurricane Matthew.

"Can you image you're taking your kids on a beach holiday and you end up in Nova Scotia? " host Gavin Crawford put to the Because News panellists.

Ashley Botting suggested an alternative route for the sun-seekers. " I worked on a cruise once and you never really have to get off the thing to have a good time."

Gavin wondered how Nova Scotia would sell this change in destination to the Disney fans, since "kids, come drink at our bars and enjoy our bands," just doesn't have the right ring to it.
