Breaking News: There is no scientific evidence that flossing works and 4/5 dentists may be lying to you

This week, an investigative journalist at Associated Press pulled the rug out from dental offices everywhere. Thanks to the work of Pulitzer-finalist, Jeff Donn, we now know the truth about flossing: dentists have been stringing us along. Apparently, there is no scientific evidence that flossing actually works. The American Dietary Guidelines have recently been updated--it no longer recommend flossing your teeth. But will this new update affect our panels' hygiene habits?

Flossing may not have clear health benefits, but it clearly benefits corporate interests--some pro-floss studies have been funded by Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson, both of which sell floss and dental products.
