ABOUT THE HOST
Gavin Crawford is one of Canada's brightest comedic and dramatic performers—best known for star turns on This Hour Has 22 Minutes, on CBC, and his eponymous The Gavin Crawford Show, on the Comedy Network. This Second City alum and Gemini Award winner has made a serious (and seriously funny) contribution to this country's rich comedic tradition. Gavin is originally from Taber, Alberta.
Gavin's work has been honoured with the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Performance by a Male, two Dora Awards, the ACTRA Award for Outstanding Male Actor, and a Canadian Screen Award for best writing of a comedy program.
Gavin has also produced several one-man shows, including the recent sold-out Fringe Festival hit, "Friend" "Like" #Me. Gavin was last onstage in February at the Grand Theatre in London, starring in "Fully Committed".

ABOUT THE TEAM
Executive Producer, Elizabeth Bowie: When Elizabeth Bowie was six years old, she decided she wanted to be a reporter. When she was seven, she had her birthday party at the CBC studios in her hometown of Halifax. And when she was eight, she wrote to the CBC and asked if she could have a job. Elizabeth still has the letter HR sent back, thanking her for her interest and asking her to wait ten years. She did, and soon after, in the tallest turret of Ottawa's Chateau Laurier studios, she got her start as a traffic reporter. Elizabeth has been a producer with CBC's Go, Spark, Tapestry and Ideas. When she's not kicking up her heels with Gavin and the gang, she can be found in dingy piano bars, singing the Carly Simon Songbook.
Producer, David Carroll: Over the last dozen years David Carroll has helped to produce some of CBC Radio's most beloved shows, including Canada Reads, Go with Brent Bambury, Groove-Shinny, Centre Stage, and The Radio 2 Top 20. When he's offline, David Carroll runs ultra-marathons and writes award-winning novels for young adults. His most recent novel is Sight Unseen (Scholastic Canada).
Producer, Philip Leung: Philip Leung has created content for multiple CBC shows including Because News, George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, Exhibitionists and Podcast Playlist. You can also catch his award winning short films on Amazon Prime and film festivals around the world.
Our production team also includes Program Assistant Erin Conway.
