The Audio Doc Unit is CBC's new home for innovative audio documentaries. Our team is fully dedicated to making current affairs documentaries, stories that Canadians need to know about. We take listeners deep inside the stories unfolding right now, while also investing time in enterprise storytelling. Our goal is to always surprise and delight listeners with new ways of thinking about our world and the people who live here.

Our team also supports CBC producers from across our network to bring exciting and enticing docs to listeners. In collaborating with local producers, we gain the depth of their local perspective and their on-the-ground expertise. By collaborating with producers and reporters from across our country, we aim to reflect the diversity of our country's people and issues.

These docs will air on The Current, The Sunday Magazine, The House, and What On Earth. Select documentaries will also air on The Doc Unit's own show, Storylines, hosted by the doc-maker.
