Secretly-recorded tapes of Egyptian leader, Hosni Mubarak, released to the public

When the imprisoned former ruler of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak, was being seen by his doctor while in prison, he was often in a talking mood. And as it turns out, his doctor was in a recording mood.

Now, this series of secretly-recorded conversations have been made public.

Hosni Mubarak talks about everything from the U.S. and Israel to Mohamed Morsi and the Egyptian military.

The tapes are intimate and unadulterated -- and have captivated many Egyptians since their release.
