What about BOB? If you're a Twin Peaks fan, you'll understand that reference. If not, you're probably confused, but have at least heard of the groundbreaking 1990's TV series. Created by David Lynch, the dark and bizarre drama, is returning for another nine-episode run on the U.S. network Showtime.

Lynch will direct every episode -- and along with fellow series creator and executive producer Mark Frost -- he will also write and produce the show. Twin Peaks's third season will begin on June 2016 and will take place in the present day and promises to provide fans with "long-awaited answers and a satisfying conclusion."

Kyle Twede, the owner of Twede's Cafe in North Bend, Washington, which stood in for Norma's Double R Diner in the TV show's pilot episode, still finds the restaurant is a big draw for fans.

"I probably get about at least a couple a day that have seen the show and want to try the cherry pie and the coffee," Twede tells As It Happens host Carol Off. "I'd say a good portion of them don't know where they are, and then they order the pie and they realize they're in Twin Peaks' [diner]."

(In case you're baffled by the pie reference, one of the show's lead characters ate the pie along with a "damn fine cup of coffee.")

You can hear our chat with Twede by clicking the Listen tab. We've also included an interview from the archives. Back in 1990, As It Happens spoke with Ed Larsen, owner of Big Ed's Restaurant in Snoqualmie Falls. He talks about how life had changed in the small town, after Twin Peaks started filming there.

And for those of you who missed the series during its original 1990-91 run, here's a succinct synopsis provided by Showtime:

Twin Peaks followed the inhabitants of a quaint northwestern town who were stunned after their homecoming queen Laura Palmer is shockingly murdered. The town's sheriff welcomed the help of FBI agent Dale Cooper, who came to town to investigate the case. As Cooper conducted his search for Laura's killer, the town's secrets were gradually exposed. The mystery that ensued set off an eerie chain of events that plunged the inhabitants of Twin Peaks into a darker examination of their very existence.
