It was supposed to be a good news story for unpaid interns. Last week's government crackdown on unpaid internships in the magazine industry led The Walrus and Toronto Life magazines to end their unpaid internship programs. But on Tuesday, Rogers Publishing abruptly ended all of its unpaid and modestly-paid internships at at least two of its magazines, Flare and Chatelaine. Diana Duong was one month into her six-month internship at Chatelaine when she got the news.
