Alfredo Sirkis is an elected deputy in Brazil's Federal Congress. He also sits on a congressional committee that has been investigating foreign spying in Brazil revealed through the N-S-A leaks of Edward Snowden.
Mr. Sirkis says the reported spying by Communications Security Establishment Canada, or CSEC, on Brazil's Mines and Energy Ministry shows an unfriendly attitude.
But he says it's small potatoes, when compared to the espionage by the U.S. National Security Agency or NSA.
