Scottish playwright David Greig's Yes/No play is unfolding in real time, on Twitter. It's about a couple engaged in a debate on Scottish independence. This week, Scots will vote in a referendum to decide whether their country will remain a part of Great Britain, or if it will become an independent nation for the first time in more than 300 years.

The characters in Greig's play are divided on the issue of independence: one argues passionately for remaining within Britain, sports "Team GB" colours and extols the monarchy. The other waxes eloquently about Scottish self-determination, and the importance of a strong national cultural and artistic collective.
