DJ locks himself in studio, plays 'Last Christmas' by Wham! 24 times
A radio DJ in Austria recently barricaded himself in his studio and put "Last Christmas" by Wham! on repeat.
By now, most people are probably sick of Christmas music. For two months solid, we've been bombarded with sickly-sweet Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé songs.
Then there's Joe Kohlhofer.
He's an Austrian DJ who recently barricaded himself inside a radio studio and proceeded to play "Last Christmas" by Wham! over and over again. Twenty-four times to be exact.
The radio station, Antenne Kärnten, was quickly flooded with phone calls from listeners begging Kohlhofer to stop. When Kohlhofer's four-year-old daughter called in, he finally obliged.
