From flying pigs to cans of Orange Crush, and lots of clever banter in between, Twitter was on fire last night.

The NDP swept Alberta in a historic win.

It was a huge shock that turned Canadian politics on its head - after a PC dynasty of more than 40 years, the NDP won a majority government in the province.
