Amid the heartbreak, Brandon Ewanchyshyn was told that his friend, Parker Tobin, was among the players who had survived — only to be told this morning that there'd been a terrible mistake.

Near the site of Friday's crash, there are six white crosses in the ground. They're there as a memorial to Dylan Fiddler's family, who died after an accident in 1997.
