At least fifty-eight people are dead, and hundreds injured after a gunman opened fire on a music festival in Las Vegas. Our guest began the night serving beer to country music fans — and ended it comforting one of the victims as he died.

After yesterday's referendum, the government of Catalonia says 90 percent of voters want independence from Spain — but the government of Spain says the vote was 100 percent meaningless.

After two UK deportation orders, long phone calls with his lawyer, and a plane trip that almost sealed his fate, Samim Bigzad is back in the UK, hoping that a third asylum claim will win the day.
