Did you know Nelly Furtado and Timbaland wrote a song that literally set the studio on fire? In their first session for her 2006 album, Loose, producer Timbaland played a beat he made for Furtado and he turned it up super loud—so loud that smoke started coming out of the speakers, followed by flames. That flaming beat eventually became the mega hit song, “Maneater.”
