2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the blue, pink and white striped transgender flag created by Monica Helms. To mark the occasion, Helms, a transgender activist and U.S. Navy veteran, is embarking on a Canadian tour to help bring visibility to trans issues. CBC News caught up with her on a tour stop in Edmonton.
