Indiana primary live blog: Results, updates and analysis
On the Republican side, 57 delegates are up for grabs, while Democrats vie for 83 delegates
It was a decisive night for the remaining presidential hopefuls as Indiana voted in the presidential primary — and the race dropped from five candidates to four.
Donald Trump won the Republican contest. That means he will most likely go on to clinch the nomination. The win caused Ted Cruz to drop out of the race. With the exception of California, Indiana had the most delegates up for grabs (57) in the remaining Republican primary contests.

Democrat Bernie Sanders also won tonight. The win helps to keep him from falling further behind front-runner Hillary Clinton in the delegate count. Democrats were competing for 83 delegates in Indiana. The delegates will be distributed proportionally.
Polls closed at 6 p.m. local time. Indiana spans both the eastern and central time zones, so waves of results started to come in shortly after each closing time.
