Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood engaged
Along with returning to live shows to mark the Rolling Stones' 50th anniverary, guitarist Ronnie Wood is apparently heading back to the altar as well.
The veteran rocker and visual artist, 65, is engaged to marry theatre producer Sally Humphreys, 34, according to a spokesman.
The trip down the aisle will be the third for the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, who finalized his divorce from ex-wife Jo Wood in 2011.
Wed in 1985, the couple's marriage dissolved in 2008 and 2009, amid his tempestuous relationship with a 21-year-old cocktail waitress. This fall, the former spouses briefly feuded over ownership of artwork and memorabilia that was eventually auctioned off last weekend, as part of their divorce settlement. Jo Wood's memoir — set to include stories from her more than 20-year marriage to the Stones guitarist — will be published in February.
Wood, a rock stalwart known both for playing with the Rolling Stones and Faces, was previously married to former model Krissy Findlay in the 1970s.
According to his stepson, Wood and fiancée Humphreys are friends who have known each other for some time.
"She's a lovely girl and she's no groupie," Jamie Wood told Britain's Daily Mail in June.
Wood and his bandmates Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts revealed earlier this month plans to play four arena shows in London and the U.S. in late November and mid-December to mark the band's 50th anniversary.
Last week, the Stones announced and played a surprise, same-day "warm-up gig" in Paris — an intimate show for just 350 with tickets that cost just 15 euro ($19.50) — before the upcoming concert series.
