Keanu features gun battles, thugs and an undeniably adorable cat, says Eli Glasner

Keanu features gun battles, gangsters galore and, in the middle of it all, one ridiculously, undeniably adorable cat. The film debut of TV's Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele is not your typical action comedy.

Keanu gets 3.5 out of 5 stars

Keanu features gun battles, gangsters galore and, in the middle of it all, one ridiculously, undeniably adorable cat.

The film debut of Comedy Central comedians Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele is not your typical action comedy, says CBC's Eli Glasner.

For years, the duo have presented their warped view of the world through their namesake comedy show. With their first movie  — and armed with a secret weapon in the form of the film's furry star — the pair stay true to form: spoofing stereotypes, changing attitudes and generally keeping the audience off-balance with unexpected references.
