Canada-wide arrest warrant issued for offender known to frequent Windsor
Nicholas McCullough, 30, is wanted on charges related to assault, robbery, firearms, and more
A man who is wanted by Windsor police on a long list of charges, including multiple counts of assault, is now being sought by law enforcement across Canada.
On Thursday, a release by the provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad named Nicholas McCullough, 30, as the subject of a nation-wide warrant.
According to police, McCullough has breached the terms of his statutory release as he was serving parole in the community and his whereabouts are unknown.
He was serving a six-year, seven-month sentence after being convicted of aggravated assault, possession of a prohibited weapon, discharging a restricted firearm with intent, and failure to comply with probation.
McCullough is also wanted by Windsor police on charges that have yet to be resolved in court. They include: assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, robbery, pointing a firearm, wearing a mask while committing a crime, and numerous weapons offences.
McCullough is described as a white male about six feet in height and 187 pounds in weight. He has brown hair and blue eyes. There are noticeable scars on his right cheek, left elbow, and shoulders and a tattoo of a cross on his chest.
Police say McCullough is known to frequent Windsor, Chatham-Kent, London, and Sarnia.
