The crowds were a little lighter than usual at Windsor's riverfront Monday night for the big Windsor-Detroit fireworks display.
Detroit's Parade Company decided to start the proceedings an hour early, for fear of a forecasted storm moving in.
Even though it wasn't dark when the fireworks started, some people still enjoyed the show.
Other's were not so happy.
Within minutes of the grand finale, dozens of people had commented on the CBC News Windsor Facebook page.
Scarlett Vale wrote, "Lame, watching fireworks during the daylight. It should have been put off until tomorrow. What a waste of money."
Stanley Yu added, "They could've started at the usual time, didn't even rain at all."
Christine Hitch Southern summed it up this way, "EPIC FAIL."
