Remembrance Day Toronto 2015: Where you can pay your respects
Here's a list of where you can honour our veterans on Nov. 11
The Sunnybrook Veterans Centre has found a novel way to honour its residents on Remembrance Day.
On Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., the Centre will begin planting 30,000 Canadian flags on its grounds so that when the veterans "wake up on November 11, there will be a sea of red and white flags in a magnificent tribute and show of appreciation, from Canadians far and wide who have not forgotten their courageous contributions."
Please email RAFVolunteer@sunnybrook.ca if you would like to volunteer a couple of hours of your time on Tuesday evening to plant the flags.
This show of support for our veterans is one of many that will be happening over the next two days at these locations across the city. All Remembrance Day services will begin at 10:45 a.m.
