CBC Radio's Up North host Jason Turnbull has taken his talents to Thunder Bay for a week and it's fair to say he's been busy.

Originally from New Waterford, N.S., the man who usually hosts the show from Sudbury took the captain's seat to Thunder Bay and made a few friends along the way.

From fixing printers and fishing to sitting in saunas and feasting on fried fish, Turnbull's trip has been well-documented on social media.

Instead of telling you what the radio host has been up to in northwestern Ontario, have a look through these photographs posted on Facebook and Twitter so we can show you some of Turnbull's experiences along the shores of Lake Superior.

Be sure to join Turnbull and the CBC gang at an open house starting Friday at 3 p.m. at 213 Miles Street East in Thunder Bay.
