Saskatoon man has front seat to history with Bautista homer

Errol Osecki had a front-row seat to history as Jose Bautista's epic blast landed in his section.

"You just heard the crack of the bat and then this tiny white dot kept getting bigger"

It was a front-row seat to history.

Saskatoon man Errol Osecki went to Toronto for game five of the Rangers-Blue Jays series. He had a seat in the upper deck.

He watched the seventh inning, with its questionable call, three Texas errors and then Jose Bautista at the plate.

"You just heard the crack of the bat and then this tiny white dot kept getting bigger and bigger and everybody in my section all around were all hoping that it would go long enough to get out," he said.

The man who caught the ball was right behind Osecki. His friends on social media are already on him for not snagging the historical orb.

"I was too busy jumping up and down, I don't know if my arms came down for 20 minutes after that," he said.
