Regina shooting sends man to hospital in critical condition

A man, 29, is in hospital in critical condition after being shot in Regina close to the downtown.

A man, 29, is in hospital in critical condition after being shot in Regina close to the downtown.

The victim was found last night, around 8:30 p.m. CST on the 1400 block of Victoria Avenue, close to the intersection with Ottawa St.

On Tuesday morning, police had cordoned off several buildings just north of Victoria on Ottawa Street.

The man is listed in "stable but critical condition," police said.

Nobody has been arrested.

Police had the westbound lanes of Victoria Avenue blocked off while the crime scene was investigated.
