Make yourself at home in CBC living room at the P.E.I. Provincial Home Show; meet CBC personalities and CBC Kids' Gary the Unicorn

The P.E.I. Provincial Home Show is March 7 to 9 at Eastlink Centre, Charlottetown and CBC will be there.

The home show is combined with P.E.I. Provincial Outdoor Show again this year.

While checking out the latest trends in home construction, gardening, landscaping, renovations and decor at the show, be sure to join us in the CBC living room.

Be sure to bring the kids to meet Gary the Unicorn, from CBC Kids' The Story Store. Gary is making his Prince Edward Island debut at the home show.

Live Broadcast: Meet gardener Niki Jabbour on CBC's Maritime Noon

CBC's Maritime Noon host Bob Murphy returns home to the island for a live broadcast of the popular phone-in show from the CBC living room, on Friday, March 7.  Halifax gardener, horticulturalist and author Niki Jabbour will join him in person to answer your gardening questions. If you're not in Charlottetown at the show, you can phone 1-800-565-1940.

And speaking of spring. Be sure to pick up a pack of Vesey sunflower seeds (while supplies last). 

Charlottetown Fire Department reminds us to spring ahead

Clocks will go ahead one hour for Daylight Savings Time at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 9. Members of the Charlottetown Fire Department will be at the CBC booth on Saturday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., to remind everyone to "spring ahead", and to also change their batteries in their smoke detectors. They will have some batteries to hand out (while supplies last). Drop by and meet members of your local fire department.
