The village where the Penguins live
Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Mario Lemieux each call Sewickley, Pa., home
Pittsburgh is the largest city within Allegheny County, Pa., a larger area with an estimated population of 1.2 million according to the 2011 census in America.
But just north of Pittsburgh is a small village called Sewickley. It is a quiet town with a "specialty clientele," according to businesses there.
Google Streetview does not show the side streets within the town, only the main throughways. One reason for that could be the fame of some of its residents.
Pittsburgh Penguins owner and hall-of-famer Mario Lemieux is a resident of Sewickley. He has also attracted some young Penguins stars to the town, including Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.
According to resident Tom Pepping, Malkin even bought a home for his parents in the small village.
