A woman died in a head-on collision on Nova Scotia's Highway 103 on Tuesday morning.

Nadine Ann Rogers, 38, of Marriott's Cove died at the crash site close to Exit 6 near Hubbards.

The RCMP said a pickup truck was travelling west when it collided with an oncoming SUV just after 6 a.m. The injured driver was rushed to hospital in Halifax.

Rogers and the other driver were the only ones in the vehicles.

There is no word on what caused the crash. The RCMP said the road was dry at the time.

Highway 103 — 10

Highway 104 (Truro to C.B.) — 4

Highway 101 (Annapolis Valley) — 3
