Former 90210 star in 709 to film a movie
Jason Priestley is in Newfoundland to film a movie, and the actor documented his time in downtown St. John's on social media.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 cast member is set to star in Away from Everywhere, a film written by Mark Hoffe and based on the award-winning novel by Chad Pelley. The project is being directed by local filmmaker Justin Simms.
According to IMDB, the film, which also stars Joanne Kelly and Shawn Doyle, is about a struggling writer who reunites with his estranged brother after leaving rehab, and then falls into a tragic love triangle.
Saturday in St. John's
Priestley took some time to wander around downtown St. John's on Saturday, and posted his adventures on Twitter.
