Join CBC at the Maison de la Culture Monkland on Wednesday, April 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. for a screening of the documentary Champions, which follows two Quebec athletes on a three-year journey to the 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Abu Dhabi.

The screening will be followed by a conversation with the film's director, Helgi Piccinin, who is the brother of one of the film's main characters, Stéphane.

The event is free, but you have to register in advance.

Where: Maison de la Culture Pavillon Monkland. 6400 Monkland Ave. (Notre-Dame-de-Grâce)
