Investigators are still trying to find out what caused a big fire in a Winnipeg apartment block on Wednesday.
Residents still not allowed to back into building at Osborne and Morley
Investigators are still trying to find out what caused a big fire in a Winnipeg apartment block on Wednesday.
The fire started in an upper level suite and spread to the attic and roof of the building on south Osborne Street at Morley Avenue.
No one was hurt but three cats died in the blaze, which caused an estimated $500,000 in damage.
Residents have not yet been allowed to return.
This isn't the first time that block has been in the news.
In 2006 there was a fire in the basement, and in 2011 a man was found beaten to death in one of the suites.
