Teen in critical after Osborne crash

A serious car crash at the intersection of Osborne Street and Wardlaw Avenue has prompted city police to ask motorists to avoid the area.

A teenaged pedestrian was struck, police said. While they couldn't say if it was a boy or a girl, the victim was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

All northbound lanes of Osborne Street — a major north-south traffic artery — are currently closed, police said.

A police spokesman said traffic will be tied up for hours.
