RCMP make arrest after Stony Mountain inmate found dead

RCMP have made an arrest in connection with the death of an inmate at Stony Mountain Institution, a federal prison outside of Winnipeg.

RCMP have made an arrest in connection with the death of an inmate at Stony Mountain Institution, a federal prison outside of Winnipeg.

Officials say Clayton Korski, who was 33, was found unresponsive Monday at the medium security unit. 

Staff say first responders could not save Korski, who was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder.

The cause of his death has not been released.

The warden has ordered a lockdown and search of the prison. The Correctional Service of Canada and RCMP are investigating Korski's death.
