The teen who walked into traffic at Portage and Main wearing a mask and holding a fake gun was granted bail on Friday.

The 17-year-old was arrested on July 19 and charged with mischief endangering life and disguise with intent, among other charges.

At the time, police would not specify if was a toy, a pellet or airsoft gun or another type of replica

She cannot be named because of the youth criminal justice act.

The judge released the teen on what she called tight bail conditions. The teen is not allowed to possess a weapon, ingest drugs or alcohol, and must abide by a curfew. She must also receive mental health treatment and take her medication.

She was also ordered to contact the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba for an assessment and must complete any programming they recommend.

Court heard the accused met with a doctor and a mental health assessment was completed.

The teen is due back in court later this month on her six charges.
