No injuries in early-morning fire at Inkster Industrial Park business

A two-alarm blaze broke out in a business in Inkster Industrial Park Monday morning, taking almost four hours and 29 fire-paramedic vehicles to extinguish.

A two-alarm blaze broke out in a business in the Inkster Industrial Park Monday morning, taking almost four hours and 29 fire-paramedic vehicles to extinguish.

Emergency crews were called to Paramount Road between Keewatin Street and Inkster Boulevard at 6:40 a.m. 

Crews saw "the potential for high life and structure hazards" when dealing with the fire in an industrial area, where hazmat were also present, the city said in a release. A drone was deployed to scope out hot spots. 

No one was injured in the fire, officials said. 

Road closures remained in place Monday afternoon. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation and no damage estimates are available at this time.
