Man charged after fight, stabbing outside Winnipeg nightclub

A 25-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault in connection with a violent incident outside a nightclub in Winnipeg's Exchange District.

A 25-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault in connection with a violent incident outside a nightclub in Winnipeg's Exchange District.

Police were called to Bannatyne Avenue and Princess Street around 3 a.m. on June 25 after a large fight broke out.

A man in his 30s, who had been stabbed several times in his upper body, was rushed to hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable.

The 25-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, police said.
