It's Beluga Week in northern Manitoba and more than 3,000 of the whales are expected to converge on Churchill's waters for the summer.

The whales migrate to the area, off the coast of northern Manitoba, every year before settling down in small estuaries where the Seal, Nelson and Churchill rivers meet the Hudson Bay.
