Kamloops Self-Advocate newsletter shows diverse abilities

Nothing about us without us. That's a saying in the community of people with diverse mental and physical abilities. We'll hear from a Kamloops man about a newsletter for people with disabilities that he created where they can share their stories.

The Kamloops Self-Advocate allows people with mental and physical challenges to share their stories.

There were people who thought that Kamloops' Krystian Shaw wouldn't be able to read or write.  But Krystian never doubted himself.  Though he was born with developmental delays, he has worked hard to achieve many of his dreams.  One of them was launching a newsletter to tell the stories of people living with mental and physical challenges.  He's just started up a new advisory panel to help grow his newsletter.  Daybreak's Jenifer Norwell brings us his story.
