Highland Valley Copper operates 24/7, mining and shipping out copper and molybdenum.

For the 1,300 employees, it's a 12-hour shift.

Everyone from engineers, tradespeople, to chemists and geologists.

As part of our Access Granted series, we wanted to know more.

The CBC's Samantha Garvey met up with Community Affairs officer Jacqui Schneider.

They took a tour around the huge facility and met some of the people behind the minerals.
