Craven Jamboree switches from country to rock

Western Canada's giant outdoor country music festival has taken a turn to rock and roll. The Craven Jamboree made a name for itself over the years, bringing in top names from the world of country music.

But this year, the Rock has arrived, and it doesn't seem to bother regulars too much. "I love all kinds of music, and the parties..can't pass it up", said one fan while preparing for this weekend's bash just north of Regina.

"I've been going for the past 4 years, and I wouldn't not come out to Craven. I have so much fun every year.", says another.

Businesses in Craven are looking forward to the change in format. They feel a younger crowd could mean more money in the cash registers.
