Woman found dead near Pincher Creek, Alta. 'tentatively identified,' RCMP say
Alberta RCMP had asked for help identifying a woman's body found south of Pincher Creek on Friday morning.
Police had released sketches of several 'distinctive tattoos,' and jewelry found with the body
Alberta RCMP say they have "tentatively identified" a woman who was found dead near Pincher Creek Friday morning.
Emergency services responded to a report of a dead female in a rural area south of the town at 7:55 a.m. The RCMP's Major Crime Unit released information to try and identify the body, which has several "distinctive tattoos," according to a release.
RCMP say the woman is believed to be white, with light brown hair that was dyed orange or red. She is described as about five feet five inches tall, and 100 pounds. A rough estimate of her age puts her between 25 and 45 years old.
