CFO Scott Burrows becomes interim president, CEO after Mick Dilger steps down

Mick Dilger has stepped down as president and CEO of Pembina Pipeline Corp. (Pembina Pipeline Corp.)

The Calgary-based Pembina Pipeline Corp. says CFO Scott Burrows will become interim president and chief executive officer as Mick Dilger steps down to pursue other opportunities.

The transition comes weeks after Dilger said Pembina was asking backers of two competing proposals for carbon capture hubs in the oil-producing province of Alberta to combine efforts with its own plan.

Burrows, who has served as Pembina's CFO for about seven years, joined the company in November 2010. Previously, he had spent seven years in energy-focused investment banking.

Cameron Goldade, Pembina's vice-president of capital markets, has been named interim chief financial officer.

Pembina chair Randall Findlay thanked Dilger for his service.

The company says its board will be working with a search firm to identify and evaluate internal and external candidates for the CEO job.

Pembina owns pipelines that carry hydrocarbon liquids and natural gas produced primarily in Western Canada as well as gas gathering and processing facilities and other businesses.
