A Calgary man has been charged with sexual interference after a four-year-old boy told his parents he was fondled at a private day home in Rocky Ridge.

The assault is alleged to have happened last December and was reported to police last month.

Miles Jarvis Clark, 51, was arrested on Feb. 5 and charged with sexual interference with a child under 16.

Clark, who lives in the home but was not a childcare worker, is alleged to have sexually assaulted the boy when the two were alone, police said.

Police say the operator of the day home has refused to provide investigators with a list of other families who have used her services, and they may charge her with obstruction.

Investigators have been trying to contact other parents who used the day home in the 100 block of Rockyspring Rise N.W.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 403-266-1234.
