Boy who saved brother by copying 'The Rock' to meet actor in Vancouver
Jacob O'Connor, 10, saw Dwayne Johnson perform CPR in 'San Andreas' movie
A 10-year-old boy who saved his brother's life by mimicking Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is going to meet the actor in Vancouver.
Jacob O'Connor rescued two-year-old Dylan after the toddler ended up face-down in their swimming pool in Michigan last month.
Johnson, who is in town shooting a movie, recounted the rescue in an Instagram post Friday.
According to Johnson, "Jacob pulled him out, remained calm" and started administering CPR and chest compressions.
"He learned how to do this by watching this big, brown, bald, tattooed guy do it in his favourite movie: San Andreas," the actor continued.
The boy's quick thinking is credited for saving his brother's life.
"Jacob, I'm so proud of you — so much so, I've got to meet you," Johnson said.
"We're going to fly you guys up here to Vancouver to the set of Skyscraper on my movie set, and I'm going to give you a big hug. I want to meet your little brother, I want to meet your mom."
The best part, the actor said, is that the movie sets are apparently a lot like "Willy Wonka's chocolate factory."
"You can eat all the sweets you want and it's all free! Yes, It's free! Well, somebody's paying for it, but you and Uncle DJ — we don't pay."
Wow amazing story. Giving you a Twitter 🙌🏾 Jacob for saving your little brother's life. You're a real life hero. We're all proud of you! DJ https://t.co/M34d2NIYIy

Johnson is in town shooting Skyscraper, an action film co-starring Pablo Schreiber and Canadian Neve Campbell.
On Aug. 10, the actor posted another Instagram video from the city, describing it as "one of his favourite" places in the world.
