Richmond cyclist, 16, sustains critical injuries after collision with car
A 16-year-old cyclist is in hospital with critical injuries after getting hit by a car in Richmond, B.C.

A 16-year-old cyclist is in hospital with critical injuries after getting hit by a car in Richmond, B.C.
Richmond RCMP says the accident happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday at Blundell Road and St. Albans Road.
The male cyclist, a Richmond resident, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. The driver, a 21-year-old Richmond woman who was driving an early 2000-era Hyundai, stopped after the collision and co-operated with police.
RCMP say alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
