Can you sing like this 7-year-old?

You might not know his name now, but it's possible you might hear about Elias Tyson Venegas in the future. The seven-year-old singer won the PNE talent contest, and joined the ranks of past winners including Michael Bublé and Carly-Rae Jepsen

You might not know his name now, but it's possible you might hear about Elias Tyson Venegas in the future.

The seven-year-old singer won the PNE talent contest this week, taking the same beginning steps in his career as past winners Michael Bublé and Carly-Rae Jepsen.

The Port Moody resident's passion for singing began when he was around two years old when he started jazzing up songs like A-B-C and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.

Venegas apparently was inspired to perform on stage after he saw a Bublé in concert a few years ago.

But he also likes older singers as well — his list of favourites includes Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Elvis.
